In the late 1950s, the fairy shrimp Eubranchipus holmani appeared to have vanished. However, Dr. Eric A. Lazo-Wasem, senior collections manager in the Peabody Museum’s Division of Invertebrate Zoology, has rediscovered a population of the species.
